Volunteer with Sanctuary Night

Sanctuary Night partners with other trauma-informed, anti-trafficking organizations in Columbus to equip and prepare its future volunteers for work with Sanctuary Night. Interested volunteers should reach out to Heather Kristine (heather@sustainablefaith.com) and keep an eye out for upcoming trainings, which are two-part. They are:

  1. Attend a She Has A Name Training. This free community education program, open to both men and women, is a three-week, 101, crash course on human trafficking, response efforts, and local partner organizations addressing the issue. Trainings are typically held on three consecutive Wednesday nights at Veritas Community Church in the Short North. Trainings are offered several times a year.

  2. Attend a Sanctuary Night Training, which is typically scheduled a week or two after a She Has A Name Training ends. At the Sanctuary Night Training, we address trafficking in Frankinton, Q and A’s pertaining to what happens at Sanctuary Night, and answer questions.

  3. Want to start helping right now?

    1. Donate food! Contact Heather (Heather@sustainablefaith.com) and sign up here to drop off dinner just before 8pm on a Monday night, dropped off Lower Lights Ministries (1067 Sullivant Ave). We need meals for 20-25 people. The women love casseroles, tacos, soups, and other Crock Pot classics. Sweet tea, lemonade, punch, and bottled water are popular. Fresh produce gets eaten. Desserts are especially beloved. Restaurant gift cards are welcome too!
